This listing is for one new 2 inch tall UHF Stubby antenna that is custom fine-tuned by hand with lab grade equipment to specifically cover the 460 to 482 MHz frequency range with a VSWR of 1.5:1 or better for true high performance FM analog or digital communications range.  Due to the improved VSWR our antenna will reduce the current draw on the portable radio battery during transmit for a longer battery run time.  Made in the USA.

The portable radio shown in the photo is shown for reference only and is not included.  Our custom tuned UHF antennas have greatly improved communications for all business, consumer, commercial, fire, GMRS 462-467 MHz, government, industrial, public safety, police, and rescue radio users who operate in the shared UHF 2-way radio band.

Our K460 antenna is only 2.0 inches tall with a final height tolerance of ± 0.14 of an inch as measured from the bottom of the weather skirt to the top cap of the antenna. The antenna covering is made of black flexible PVC and has a bottom weather skirt to protect the RF connection on the radio housing. We silver solder all reworked internal antenna connections.

The retuning of the antenna achieves a minimum signal gain of up to +3 dB that will effectively double your transmit and receive signal power due to the very low VSWR and excellent 50 ohm impedance match as compared to an untuned antenna.  Our retuning also allows for a much smaller antenna height without any loss of performance by eliminating all of the unused space inside the antenna covering.

• FYI: Just because the antenna purchased fits on the portable radio and looks great does not guarantee communications performance.  You must verify the tuned frequency range of the antenna purchased matches the actual frequency range used in your portable radio.
• We will not be held liable for performance problems caused by any antenna being used outside of their tuned frequency range or due to the wrong antenna frequency range chosen by the buyer.  It is the buyer’s responsibility to verify what specific frequencies or the frequency range needed.  A UHF antenna will definitely NOT work at all in the 140-174 MHz Vhf, 700 MHz, 800 MHz, or 900 MHz frequency ranges.  A Vhf antenna may work very poorly in the UHF frequency ranges, and it will definitely NOT work at all in the UHF, 700 MHz, 800 MHz or 900 MHz frequency ranges.  Just because the antenna fits and looks great on your radio does not mean that it will work properly.  Matching the antenna tuned frequency range to your radio frequencies is extremely important.
• Items will be shipped to the confirmed eBay address only.
• Any buyer abuse, fraud, tampering, or illegal activity will not be tolerated and eBay will be notified of the situation.
• Please be aware if these terms and conditions are not met, eBay will be notified of Non-Performing Bidder, appropriate bidder feedback will be given, and the item will then be relisted for auction again.

SHIPPING:

• We promptly ship out all orders within 1-day with shipping insurance and tracking.  Shipments can be delayed for many reasons that are completely out of our control and we are not responsible for.  You need to be patient with your package delivery time frame.  We have done our job when we drop off your order with the shipping carrier and now it is up to the shipping carrier to do their job to deliver your package in a timely manner.
• Purchases that require customization or adjustments may require an additional 24 hours of time to prepare prior to shipping.

YOUR SHIPPING CHOICES

• USPS Ground Advantage shipping service is the lowest cost shipping method and it has become very unpredictable.  It does not offer any defined or guaranteed delivery date.  Most packages have arrived in a somewhat timely manner; however some packages can take more than 2-4 weeks to be delivered because of serious misrouting issues due to the new USPS reorganization, the new Consolidated Sorting facilities, and Holidays.
• USPS Priority Mail shipping generally tends to get to you faster and costs more; however the estimated delivery date is not guaranteed and it too can take extra time to receive your package.
• UPS Ground shipping by the United Parcel Service Company is usually very reliable and timely under normal conditions but costs more.  Prices are slightly more than the USPS Priority Mail rates.
• USPS Express Mail shipping is extremely fast in 1-2 days and costs much more.  It offers a very well-defined and guaranteed delivery date.  If the USPS Express Mail shipment is not delivered by the delivery date, the shipment costs are refundable.
• US POSTAL SERVICE RULES for all late and missing deliveries:  Step 1. If your package has not been delivered by the Estimated Expected Delivery Date, we have to wait until after this date to be able to submit a Help Request for USPS to look into the late delivery.  Step 2. If the shipment still has not been delivered within 7 business days after we submitted the Help Request, we can then submit a Missing Mail Search request for USPS to try to locate your late or missing package.  Step 3. If your USPS package has not arrived within 30 days, we can then submit for a Full Refund Request with the USPS for the lost shipment.  Step 4. After we receive a confirmation of the Full Refund Request from USPS, we will then send you a full refund or ship you a replacement order at no additional cost.
• Purchase as many items as you want at the same time and we will combine them in one cost effective shipment for you.  We will issue you a refund for any excess shipping costs you may have been charged by eBay.
• Shipping insurance and tracking is always included in the shipping cost.
• No local pickup is offered.

RETURN POLICY:

• Within 60 days of the auction close if; you are not satisfied with the item, you changed your mind, have buyer’s remorse, or made a mistake, you may return the item in the same condition as when it was purchased for a refund.  A restocking fee of 20% will be applied for all refunds.  We will refund the full item price paid less the original shipping costs, and the restocking fee. Any missing items will be deducted from the refund at the current manufacture suggested retail prices.
• Within 90 days of the auction close if you feel that your item is defective, you may return the item under our warranty conditions as listed below.
• Buyer is responsible for the total cost to ship the item back to rcbi with shipment tracking. All returned auction items must include all of the accessories, must be in all of the original packaging, and in the same condition as when it was sold. If you are returning your item because we made a mistake on your order, we will refund your reasonable return shipping costs.
• Any returned items that are used, warranty seals opened, or in an unsellable condition will not be accepted for a refund or replacement.

WARRANTY:

• 90 day limited warranty by rcbi against any defects in materials or workmanship.  Buyer is responsible for all return shipping costs to us.  We will refund the buyer for reasonable return shipment costs if the item is confirmed to be defective.
• Warranty does not cover item damage caused by accident, other defective components, abuse, add-on accessories, neglect, modifications, alteration, misuse, performance problems caused by any antenna being used outside of their tuned frequency range or due to the wrong antenna frequency range chosen by the buyers, repair, improper adjustments, tampering, shipping back to rcbi, or acts of god. Also any malfunctions or damage caused by failing to follow directions will not be covered.
• Warranty is for the original purchaser only and cannot be reassigned.  The warranty date starts on the auction close date and any repaired or replacement items issued under warranty will be covered only for the original warranty period.
• The returned item will be inspected and retested for all specifications.  If the item is found to be defective in materials and/or workmanship, we will repair or replace the item at our discretion.  The item will be returned to you at no cost.
• Any returned item found not to be defective and in good condition, will be shipped back to the buyer after we receive a payment from the buyer for all return shipment costs.  Our return shipping will include shipping insurance and tracking.
• Any abuse, fraud, modifications, or tampering to our items will not be tolerated and void the warranty period.  eBay will be notified of the situation.
